We are currently looking for a 5G PS Core Network Engineer with strong focus on NFVI solutions support and deployment, to strengthen our team in Zurich, Switzerland. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, international environment with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities / Key Tasks
- Plan, design, and deliver Packet Core NFV solutions (5GC, PCF, PCRF).
- Deploy, integrate, and support solutions on Huawei NFVI platforms (FusionSphere, E9000-H, CloudEngine, OceanStor).
- Provide technical expertise during major network deployments, upgrades, and expansions.
- Support testing, validation, and rollout of new core network products and features
- Act as the technical interface for customer engineering teams.
Your Profile
- Strong hands-on experience with 5GC Packet Core products and NFVI environments.
- Knowledge of PCF/PCRF and familiarity with VoLTE/VoNR call flows.
- Good understanding of telco cloud, virtualization, and container platforms
- Solid IP networking skills (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP) and Linux/UNIX systems background.
- 3+ years’ experience in network operations, engineering, or delivery projects.
- Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and customer-facing experience.
- Eligible to work in Switzerland.
