We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Energy Test Engineer to join our maritime team. This role will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing tests on various energy systems and components to ensure product reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

The Test and Evaluation team at Anduril works across the entire spectrum of products and business lines, as well as all flight operations and test range management. Our team conducts full system level development testing, new production acceptance testing, sub-component qualification testing and much more. In short, if it involves test, we support it. What You'll Do

  • Design and implement test plans for energy products, including renewable energy systems, batteries, and power management units.
  • Operate test equipment and simulate environmental conditions to evaluate product performance under various scenarios.
  • Collaborate with R&D and product development teams to integrate test findings into design improvements.
  • Analyze test data to identify trends, performance issues, and areas for optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international energy standards and regulations.
  • Document test procedures, results, and recommendations for product enhancements.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing and quality assurance teams during product certification and production phases.
  • Maintain and calibrate test equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability in measurements.
  • Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and energy technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power/Energy Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in energy systems testing or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with energy standards, such as UN38.3 or NAVESEA
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and software (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with environmental testing chambers and data acquisition systems.
  • Knowledge of energy electronics, control systems, and circuit design.

Work Environment

  • This role may involve exposure to various environmental conditions in test labs and occasional field testing.
  • The position may require some travel for on-site testing and collaboration with external partners.

US Salary Range

$145,000—$175,000 USD

Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
