Job Title: C++ Developer
Job Description
Join our agile team environment where you'll design, implement, and document new software products and make changes to existing ones. You'll provide support to fellow software team members, engineering projects, and other departments.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and Software Engineers to transform ideas into functional software for dedicated hardware and personal computers.
- Identify and resolve bugs in existing software.
- Write clear, well-documented code adhering to team coding standards for maintainability.
- Conduct responsive and constructive code reviews for peers.
- Occasionally present completed work or features to organizational stakeholders during sprint demos.
- Mentor and guide fellow engineers to promote growth and technical excellence.
Essential Skills
- Extensive (5+ years minimum) professional experience with modern C++ (version 14 or later, preferably 17 or later).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- B.S./B.A. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
- Experience with software and product systems design and programming, including object-oriented design and MVC.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with hybrid applications.
- Familiarity with Windows API.
- Knowledge of graphical user interfaces.
- Understanding of SQL databases.
- Proficiency in version control, especially Git.
- Experience in an agile development environment, particularly SCRUM.
- Familiarity with HTML5, Node, Angular, and/or React.
- Understanding of Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.
- Knowledge of diverse digital and peripheral circuitry.
Work Environment
Software Engineers, 2 Sr Software Engineers, 2 Junior Software Engineers, and 1 Consultant.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Wooster, Ohio.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
