Product Designer in INDIA

Company Description

We are an EdTech Project with IIT Bombay. We are looking for a trainer ( Preferably MDes -PD ) for our AI studio located at IIT Bombay, Powai, Mumbai to be part of our team working for our upcoming course - Next-Gen Innovation: AI and Design Thinking And Innovation (AIDT ).

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for Product Designer (PD) located in IIT Bombay campus Mumbai. The PD will oversee some of course materials development of our training programs . Central theme of our AIDT programme is a human-centered, iterative, and non-linear approach to innovation consisting of five phases: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test.

Qualifications

Candidate must be MDes ( Industrial Design ) , PGDP or relevant equivalent qualification from institutes like MIT Institute of Design , Symbiosis Institute of Design, VIT , IIIT , Srishti Manipal Institute or similar Institutes / Universities. Students passed from IITs, NIDs and ISc can also apply .

• Strong skills in ID and other relevant design studies .
• Excellent Communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site setting
• Experience in handling educational or training programs is a plus. exposures to Design Thinking , Design and brainstorming related AI Tools and Course Materials is an added advantage though not essential.
• Candidates should be open to learn use of new AI tools
• This is full time offsite job at IIT Bombay campus.
• Candidates from outside Mumbai are most welcome provided they are prepared for relocation to Mumbai.
