What You'll Do

🔧 Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Python and SQL.

📈 Develop and optimize dimensional models (fact/dimension tables, data marts) for analytics.

🛠️ Implement data ingestion, transformation, and quality validation across varied data sources.

🔍 Leverage AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena) to deliver scalable, serverless data solutions.

📊 Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, ensure governance, and support migrations (SQL Server → Aurora Postgres).

🤝 Create and maintain data documentation, dashboards (Power BI), and performance monitoring for reliability and compliance.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Proven ability to design and manage complex data pipelines within defined business domains.

✅ Strong Python (pandas, numpy) and advanced SQL expertise for data processing and optimization.

✅ Skilled in dimensional modeling and ETL/ELT best practices using AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena).

✅ Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake, including migrations and data warehousing.

✅ Hands-on with Power BI, data validation, and integration across varied data formats (JSON, CSV, Parquet, APIs).

✅Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in data engineering environments.

Preferred Experience

• Background in regulated industries (healthcare, government) with HIPAA/FedRAMP familiarity.
• Exposure to real-time streaming (Kinesis, EventBridge) and IaC tools (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform).
• Experience with metadata management, CI/CD, Git, and Agile data practices.
• Knowledge of advanced analytics and ML data preparation concepts.
