Position Name : Full Stack Java Developer (with i18n/Localization Expertise)

Location: 100% Remote

Position Type: Fulltime

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automation tools to streamline localization workflows.
  • Work with engineering and localization teams to make web apps and content internationally ready.
  • Improve translation accuracy and reduce manual work through scalable solutions.
  • Develop and maintain APIs for localization systems.
  • Ensure web content supports multiple locales and languages smoothly.
  • Write clear technical documentation for ongoing and future development.

Must-Have Technical Skills

  • Backend (60%) – Java, Spring Boot, Node.js
  • Frontend (40%) – JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • AWS – DynamoDB, S3 (Terraform experience is a plus)
  • Internationalization (i18n) – text direction, character encoding, locale-based formatting
  • API development and integration
  • Automation and Testing for localization
  • Agile development experience
  • CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Collaboration tools – Slack, Jira, Confluence

Good to Have

  • Knowledge of Localization Tools or Translation Management Systems
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux and shell scripting
  • Awareness of UX and cultural differences in multilingual interfaces
