Main Job Responsibilities:
- Handle Service Desk operations daily, including incident management, service requests, and onboarding/offboarding for team members across developer tools.
- Collaborate on minor project work once fully settled into the role.
- Respond to system alerts and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Required Skills:
- Linux & Windows Server Administration – Strong command of both environments, including installation, configuration, patch management, and troubleshooting to ensure high system availability.
- DevOps Practices – Experience with automation, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and integration between development and operations teams for continuous delivery and reliability.
- Agile Methodologies (Jira, Confluence) – Proficient in Agile project tracking and collaboration tools to manage sprints, document processes, and ensure transparency across development cycles.
Other Skills:
- GitLab: Source code management, CI/CD pipeline configuration, and version control for efficient collaboration.
- Artifactory: Binary and artifact repository management to optimize builds and software delivery.
- Jenkins: Automation of builds, tests, and deployments across multiple environments.
- UrbanCode Deploy: Application release automation ensures consistent deployments across development, test, and production.
- Checkmarx: Static application security testing (SAST) to identify and mitigate code vulnerabilities early in the lifecycle.
- Prisma Cloud: provides Cloud security and compliance monitoring to ensure infrastructure integrity.
- Ansible Tower: Centralized automation platform for configuration management, orchestration, and provisioning.
- SonarQube: Continuous code quality inspection with static analysis for detecting bugs, code smells, and security vulnerabilities.
- ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) – Log aggregation, monitoring, and visualization for real-time system observability.
- Zabbix: Infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and performance tracking to proactively detect and resolve system issues.
