We’re hiring a Manual Tester on behalf of a fast-growing e-commerce business – fully remote, UK-based, and offering £30k.

This role is all about backend testing. You’ll be working with APIs, using tools like Postman, and validating data in XML and JSON formats. There’s no hand-holding here – if you're someone who can think critically, work independently, and spot issues without needing every detail laid out, you'll thrive.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manual testing of APIs and backend systems
• Using Postman (or similar tools) to validate requests/responses
• Reading and interpreting XML/JSON formats
• Logging bugs and working with devs to fix them
• Navigating projects with minimal specs – you’ll need to ask the right questions

You’ll need:

• 2+ years in manual testing
• Experience testing backend systems and APIs
• Confidence using tools like Postman
• Ability to read XML/JSON
• Strong communication and self-direction

Automation experience? Great, but not required.
