About the Role
A leading AI research initiative is seeking experienced Data Scientists and Analytics Professionals to contribute to a high-impact collaboration focused on improving AI systems’ ability to reason over complex data. In this role, you’ll design and execute analytical tasks that train and evaluate frontier AI models, ensuring they can interpret, process, and reason across structured datasets.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large, structured datasets to derive insights and reasoning-based solutions.
- Design multi-step analytical questions requiring critical thinking and data interpretation.
- Write and validate SQL queries (using DuckDB, pandas, or Python notebooks).
- Produce clear, human-readable explanations of analytical reasoning and findings.
- Format deliverables into structured JSON outputs (question, query, answer).
- Ensure consistency and quality through collaboration and reviewer feedback.
Ideal Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python (experience with DuckDB or pandas preferred).
- Strong background in data exploration, statistical reasoning, and business intelligence.
- Familiarity with iPython, Jupyter Notebooks, or GitHub workflows.
- Excellent written communication — able to clearly explain complex reasoning.
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (Bachelor’s minimum; advanced degree preferred).

- Duration: ~2 months
- Commitment: ~15 hours per week
