Role Summary

Gradence is seeking a Business Analyst Tutor (Self-Employed) to deliver engaging, practical, and industry-relevant training sessions to learners across the UK and beyond. This fully remote position is ideal for experienced Business Analysts who want to share their knowledge, guide students, and help the next generation of professionals build real-world BA skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver live online training sessions, workshops, and one-to-one mentoring.
  • Teach core business analysis topics, including:
  • Requirements gathering and documentation (BRDs, FRDs)
  • Stakeholder management and communication
  • Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office
  • Process mapping, business process improvement, and data analysis basics
  • Provide feedback and practical guidance to learners.
  • Update or customise course materials to ensure relevance and quality.
  • Support learners in developing confidence and employable skills.


Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or BA Trainer/Tutor.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable teaching online using Zoom, Teams, or similar platforms.
  • Passion for mentoring and helping others succeed.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart.
  • Exposure to digital transformation, AI, or automation projects.
  • Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA (preferred but not required).
