The Mission:

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Senior Software Engineer who lives and breathes the Google tech stack. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of our core SaaS application on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is not just a coding role; you are the architect, builder, and operator of our platform. You believe in infrastructure-as-code, robust CI/CD pipelines, and building for scale from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect & Build: Design, develop, and maintain a scalable, secure, and multi-tenant SaaS application using a Go-centric or similar modern backend stack (e.g., Go, Python, Node.js).
• GCP Mastery: Leverage the full power of GCP services, including Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Run, Cloud SQL/Spanner, Firestore, and Pub/Sub to build a resilient and cost-effective platform.
• DevOps & Automation: Implement and manage a robust CI/CD pipeline using Cloud Build. Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform. Your goal is a fully automated, observable, and reliable system.
• Source & Security: Champion security best practices. You will manage our codebase in Google Cloud Source Repositories and integrate with tools like Secure Source Manager to ensure a secure software supply chain.
• Database Management: Select, design, and manage the appropriate database solutions on GCP (e.g., Cloud SQL for relational needs, Firestore/Spanner for NoSQL/scalable use cases).
• Leadership & Collaboration: As a senior engineer, you will work directly with the founder to translate business requirements into technical solutions, make critical architecture decisions, and set the standard for code quality and engineering excellence.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record of building and shipping complex applications.
• Deep, hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You must be able to architect solutions from the ground up on GCP.
• Strong proficiency with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) or Cloud Run.
• Expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines, specifically with Cloud Build.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably Terraform.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following backend languages: Go (highly preferred), Python, Node.js, or Java.
• Practical experience with Google Cloud Source Repositories and an understanding of secure source management principles (e.g., Secure Source Manager). You understand why a company would choose this over public GitHub.
• Currently residing in Riyadh or willing to relocate immediately.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Google Cloud Professional certification (e.g., Cloud Architect, Cloud DevOps Engineer).
• Experience building SaaS or multi-tenant systems.
• Familiarity with Google's security tools (IAM, Secret Manager, Security Command Center).
• Frontend development experience with a modern framework like Angular or React.
