Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and backend systems
- Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of applications through robust test coverage
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define test strategies
- Identify, document, and track defects to closure
- Continuously improve testing frameworks, processes, and tools to increase efficiency
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines with automated testing
- Provide clear reporting of test results and quality metrics
- 5+ years of professional experience in software testing, with a focus on automation
- Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot, or similar)
- Good understanding of backend/API testing (Postman, REST-assured, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of test automation
- Experience with bug tracking and project management tools such as JIRA
- Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team
