Planhotel Hospitality Group is seeking a visionary Group Head of IT to lead our corporate and property-level IT strategy across an international portfolio of world-class resorts. This executive role will oversee all IT operations, guide local IT teams, and drive digital transformation initiatives that enhance guest experiences, strengthen infrastructure, and ensure the highest levels of cybersecurity.

This is a global leadership position based in one of our stunning destinations in East Africa or the Indian Ocean.

• Lead and execute a group-wide IT strategy aligned with business goals
• Inspire and develop high-performing IT teams across multiple properties
• Oversee IT systems, networks, and infrastructure management
• Safeguard company data with robust cybersecurity practices
• Manage IT budgets, vendors, and procurement
• Drive innovation and digital transformation to improve operations and guest experiences
• Advise senior leadership on technology opportunities and risks

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years of IT leadership experience, with at least 2 years at senior/group level in hospitality
• Strong track record of delivering IT strategy in multi-property operations
• Expertise in enterprise IT architecture, cloud, cybersecurity, and data management
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in East Africa or Indian Ocean is an advantage
