Are you a results-driven young professional with a passion for business analysis and project management? Our UK-based client is seeking a highly motivated Junior Project Manager / Business Analyst to join their growing team at the Malaga HUB in Spain. This role is ideal for a South African candidate looking to take the next step in their consulting career while working on cutting-edge projects in global banking and trade finance.

You’ll be supporting strategic projects within the Global Transaction Banking (GTB) space, assisting senior management with executive reporting, project coordination, and data analysis. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career internationally in a supportive and innovative environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution and monitoring of business and banking-related projects.
  • Develop executive reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
  • Manage and track project costs and timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data related to GTB solutions, including payments and commercial financing products.
  • Support project planning activities and contribute to agile ceremonies and delivery cycles.
  • Utilise tools such as JIRA, ALM, and Microsoft Teams for day-to-day project coordination.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team and business.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a consulting or business analysis role.
  • Previous involvement in banking projects (especially GTB, payments, or supply chain finance like Confirming or Factoring) is a strong plus.
  • Exposure to project management practices; familiarity with Agile methodologies is a bonus.
  • Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, ALM, and MS Teams.
  • Strong computer literacy and data handling skills.
  • Fluent in English (B2–C1) – written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness and ability to relocate to Spain (relocation support available).
