Job Summary:

The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Discipline is an exciting and challenging environment where you will have the opportunity to design, develop and test to shape innovative solutions for our customers. Raytheon is seeking motivated Satellite Ground Systems Engineers (SGSE) for several programs on the Aurora campus. In this role, you will work with an amazing team of talented multidisciplinary engineers who are leading the industry in satellite ground system solutions. The I&T engineers work closely with various Integrated Product Team (IPT) team members to support systems engineering, integration and testing related activities at various sites. The candidate will assist in the documentation and definition of all integration and testing events. The I&T engineers will also participate in the daily program scrum meetings and provide status on assigned Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tasks.

The work will be performed onsite in Aurora, CO.

What You Will Do:

  • Supporting the SI&T team in an Agile and DevSecOps (DSO) environment:
  • Support to overall test strategy, including plan and procedure development
  • Integrating software and hardware both in a lab and a operational environment
  • Troubleshooting and debugging issues
  • Development of automated test scripts and their execution
  • Generation, review, maintenance, and management of documentation
  • Conducting performance analysis, risk analysis, and trade studies
  • Preparation and conduct of program reviews
  • Collaborating across functions in support of successful program execution
  • Supporting technical interchange meetings with the customer
  • Ability to obtain and maintain SCI or any additional program access as required
  • Travel to customer sites as required to meet program objectives.
  • May require work outside of normal business hours in support of milestone integration events

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • This position requires 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internships)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Exposure with software or hardware testing, such as regression testing, test scripting and/or automation tools
  • Exposure to troubleshooting technical issues with software or hardware

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Active and in-scope US security clearance of Top Secret
  • Internship experience supporting system integration and test events for a software-based system, including regression testing, test scripting, and/or test automation tools
  • Experience with the Atlassian Suite, including Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps

The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
