About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software QA Engineer to join our dynamic team in Fremont, CA, with opportunities for relocation to the United States. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web, mobile, and API platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both manual and automated testing methodologies, with the ability to design comprehensive test strategies that span multiple platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and international stakeholders, to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Typescript, along with proficiency in testing frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and Appium, will be instrumental in this role. Additionally, your experience with API testing will help ensure seamless integration and performance across our services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing roles.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Typescript.
- Strong experience with automated testing tools including Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and Appium.
- Hands-on experience with API testing and tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with international teams.
- Experience with mobile testing, web testing, and cross-platform testing strategies.
- Ability to analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide actionable insights.
- Willingness to relocate to Fremont, CA, or the United States as required.
