This isn’t just about writing code, they’re looking for someone who thrives on ownership, craftsmanship, and pushing the limits of distributed systems.
You’ll go deep into your domain while collaborating across teams to connect backend services with mobile clients seamlessly.
What you’ll be doing
- Architecting at scale – Designing and building distributed systems that handle high throughput, real-time synchronisation, and global user growth.
- Rust at the core – Writing high-performance Rust code powering both backend services and shared components across iOS and Android.
- Seamless experiences – Working alongside mobile engineers to maintain a unified codebase, bridging backend infrastructure with client-side logic.
- End-to-end ownership – Monitoring, debugging, and improving critical systems to ensure reliability at scale.
- Innovation mindset – Exploring new technologies and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
What they’re looking for:
- Deep expertise in Rust with a passion for clean, reliable, and efficient code.
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems in production (Kafka, Redpanda, Cassandra, ScyllaDB, etc.).
- Curiosity, drive, and the ability to help shape a product designed for massive scale.
- A collaborative, knowledge-sharing mindset.
Why join them:
- Be part of a small, high-impact team shaping the future of their platform.
- Work on cutting-edge challenges in Rust, distributed systems, and large-scale backend engineering.
- Full relocation support to Paris – visa sponsorship, 1 month of housing on arrival, help with paperwork, and language lessons to get settled.
- Competitive benefits: health coverage, 8–9 weeks of vacation, fully paid parental leave, commuting covered
- A beautiful central Paris office, full of natural light, with balconies and an ambitious, international team.
