Senior Network Engineer - full-time/employee role based in Bermuda

On their behalf we are seeking an experienced professional capable of identifying and delivering various networking solutions that meet the strategic business needs of their customers. This will be a relatively even mix of project and operational work.

The ideal candidate will be a highly qualified Engineer that has a broad skillset in networking including technologies such as: Cisco, IP Routing, Switching, MPLS, Multicast VPN, Traffic Engineering, CRS, Nexus, NX-OS, IOS-XR, hardware specifications, IDS/IPS and Enterprise Security. Hands-on experience in a variety of firewalls would be an asset. Complementary experience with MS Azure and O365 would be an added advantage.

• Candidates should have the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and drive the necessary activities to solve customer issues.
• Minimum 3-4 year system engineering experience; customer facing consulting experience would be an asset.
• Excellent analytical skills for solving technical issues
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Experience in proposal and documentation writing
• Extensive experience in the architectural design and implementation of secured networks
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to systematically dissect problems.
• A proven track record of excelling in a fast-past, results-oriented environment with changing priorities and multiple goals.
• A proactive and self-motivated work ethic.
