Systems Engineer - Fully Remote - anywhere in UK

Ocho is proud to partner with a leading payments company on the search for a Systems Engineer to join their growing team. This role will design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Support and optimize Windows/Linux servers, VMware, storage, and cloud systems.
• Ensure high availability (99.999% uptime) and reliability.
• Automate processes with tools like Ansible/Terraform.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, and Security teams.
• Manage upgrades, incidents, and disaster recovery planning.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years in systems engineering (Windows/Linux/Cloud).
• Strong skills in networking, Active Directory, and scripting (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
• Experience with VMware, storage arrays, and monitoring tools.
• Bonus: AWS/Azure, Office 365, backup/security solutions, and relevant certifications.
