- Multiple approaches to hosting the same application suite
- Limited Infrastructure as Code adoption
- A high degree of manual configuration and maintenance
- Bespoke, customer-specific implementations that create complexity and slow down progress

- Design and implement solutions to remove legacy, bespoke integrations that are currently blocking progress
- Integrate additional engineering and operational processes into the platform, including: Data migrations and Deployment of customisations such as stored procedures and reporting
- Build out monitoring, operational tooling and self-service capabilities to support both engineering teams and customers
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for an engineer who is comfortable operating in complex environments and can bring structure, consistency and modern platform thinking.
Key experience includes:
- Strong experience with AWS platform engineering
- Proven experience designing and building cloud hosting platforms at scale
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience working with AWS EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS and S3
- Experience improving environments that have grown organically with manual processes and bespoke configurations
- A practical mindset, able to deliver improvements incrementally while maintaining service stability

Desirable experience:
- Experience with C# is highly desirable but not essential — engineers with strong experience in comparable languages who can cross-train into C# are equally welcome
- Experience with database platform engineering, including services such as SSRS and SSIS
- Experience migrating and consolidating multi-account or multi-environment architectures
- Experience introducing automation across networking, security or edge services such as Cloudflare
