- Leading and mentoring a team of network professionals to ensure the uptime, performance, and scalability of the cloud-native network infrastructure.
- Develop and execute Developing and executing a forward-thinking network strategy that aligns with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Driving innovation by spearheading the evolution of the network through robust automation projects.
- Architecting and implementing cutting-edge cloud networking solutions for efficient data transfer and resource allocation.
- Overseeing network security measures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and secure access controls.
- Ensuring the flawless stability and performance of BAU network services while driving strategic enhancements.
- Managing the network infrastructure budget, including CAPEX and OPEX planning, and acting as a strategic partner to senior business stakeholders and key cloud vendors.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with significant recent experience in a senior technical leadership role (Senior Manager or above) focused on networking.
- Proven experience managing complex, large-scale network environments, ideally gained within a large enterprise or a major technology service provider.
- Deep, demonstrable expertise in designing, building, and managing complex cloud network environments (Azure, AWS or Ali Cloud).
- Expert-level knowledge of core networking principles and protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, Ethernet, VPN technologies, and SD-WAN.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco-based environments (WAN/LAN, routers, and switches).
- Sound knowledge of network security and major firewall platforms such as Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet, or Palo Alto.
- A proven track record of successfully implementing network automation (e.g., for troubleshooting and maintenance purposes) would be advantageous.
- Strong leadership skills, capable of providing both high-level strategy and deep technical guidance.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English is a must
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
