We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer proficient in JavaScript, specializing in Web UI frameworks and Node.js for API development. This role focuses on designing exceptional user interfaces, optimizing UI/UX, and integrating product APIs into Node.js applications. As a leader in the frontend web team, you will ensure the robustness and sustainability of the Company's web ecosystem across its infrastructure layers. Your leadership will drive innovation within the fintech industry alongside our advanced engineering team.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the engineering team to plan and implement new features for the frontend web system.
Develop robust UI components and frontend libraries.
Lead the creation and execution of unit and integration tests for web applications.
Advocate for best practices in continuous integration and deployment.
Update and maintain user documentation to reflect new features, design patterns, or architectural changes.
Improve the maintainability, stability, and performance of web applications, aligning with core web vitals standards.
Identify and resolve issues within the web application.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in software engineering leadership.
Proven track record in delivering functional web applications or overseeing web projects.
Strong JavaScript skills; familiarity with TypeScript is a plus.
Expertise in UI libraries (React, Angular, Vue, etc.) and state management principles.
Extensive experience developing Node.js applications, including API integration and third-party libraries.
Familiarity with modern frontend CI/CD pipelines and development tools.
Experience with agile methodologies.
Strong collaboration and leadership abilities to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Willing to relocate to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
