Principal Solutions Architect, Real-Time Systems in

As a Principal Solutions Architect, you will be instrumental in shaping and delivering innovative real-time applications for enterprise clients. You will combine technical expertise, architectural leadership, and AI-driven solution design to ensure scalable, performant, and impactful systems. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, product, and customer teams, enabling you to influence the design of distributed systems while driving customer success. You'll have the opportunity to define reusable architecture patterns, lead workshops, and act as a trusted technical advisor in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. Your work will directly affect the adoption and success of cutting-edge real-time platforms at scale.
Accountabilities
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to align solution architecture with customer goals and technical requirements
- Guide enterprise customers in designing and implementing scalable, real-time applications using SDKs, APIs, and platform features
- Develop tailored solutions and reusable architecture patterns for diverse real-time use cases
- Provide hands-on expertise in SDKs, APIs, distributed systems, and AI-driven applications
- Lead workshops, enablement sessions, and contribute to comprehensive solution documentation
- Advocate for responsible AI usage, including personalization, prediction, and real-time insights
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or developer tooling, with direct experience in SDK/API implementation
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical designs and deliver cross-functional solutions
- Fluency in at least one modern programming language (JavaScript, Python, Java/Kotlin, Swift, Dart, Ruby) and experience building SDKs or developer tooling
- Expertise in distributed systems (Kubernetes, service mesh, secure APIs) and familiarity with CI/CD, testing, and modern developer environments
- Experience designing AI-driven solutions, including personalization, prediction, real-time insights, and knowledge of frameworks such as RAG, embeddings, streaming inference, and vector search
- Preferred: experience with real-time or event-driven systems (pub/sub, messaging platforms), cloud infrastructure (AWS), compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR), and developer experience/community engagement
