QA Automation Engineer (Manual Testing Experience Required) in NETHERLANDS

We're looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our team at Interactivated Solutions for an exciting healthcare project with one of our US-based clients. While automation will be a key focus, we need someone who is also comfortable running manual QA tasks during the early phases of the project.

We specialize in IT Services and Consulting, building smart, reliable software solutions. If you are passionate about automated testing, but flexible enough to step into manual QA when needed, we’d love to hear from you. This role offers the opportunity to shape the test automation process from the ground up, while contributing immediately to product quality.

• Design, implement, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts for web-based applications.


• Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure test coverage aligns with feature requirements and user expectations.


• Take ownership of test execution across automation and manual layers during the project lifecycle.


• Execute and document manual test cases when necessary, especially in early project stages or for exploratory and regression testing.


• Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or similar.


• Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing input from a QA perspective and helping refine testable requirements.


• Contribute to QA strategy, tooling choices, and process improvements.

• 5+ years of experience in QA Automation with proven skills in designing and maintaining test automation frameworks.


• Strong experience with TypeScript, Python, or similar languages for writing automated test scripts.


• Familiarity with tools like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or other modern test automation frameworks.


• Comfortable performing manual testing tasks when automation is not yet in place or as needed.


• Solid understanding of testing principles, test case design, and defect management.


• Experience working in Agile development environments.


• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.


• English proficiency at B2/C1 level (Upper-Intermediate to Advanced) – capable of effective collaboration with global teams.
