Role Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and creative UI/UX Designer Intern who is eager to learn and grow. You will work closely with our development and design team to create engaging user interfaces and user experiences for web and mobile applications. This is a Remote and Unpaid internship that will serve as a strong testimony for your career and help you build a solid portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design and development team to understand project requirements and user needs.
• Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, user feedback, and usability findings.
• Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma.
• Participate in design brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design concepts.
• Work with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
• Apply basic coding knowledge to understand design feasibility and communicate effectively with developers.

Requirements:

• Figma knowledge is preferred – if you are new to Figma, training will be provided.
• Good understanding of UI/UX principles and design thinking.
• Basic coding experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus).
• Ability to communicate fluently in English.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Must be able to work remotely with stable internet access.
• South Africa preferred but other countries are also welcome to apply.
