Bongalo is on the hunt for a code conjurer—a mobile maestro fluent in Flutter, Swift, Kotlin (or the dark arts of React Native)—who’s ready to craft magic into our iOS and Android apps. We’re not interested in average. We want someone who builds apps people actually enjoy using.
Your Mission (should you choose to accept it):
• Breathe life into new features that travelers didn’t even know they needed.
• Fix bugs with the precision of a ninja and the patience of a monk.
• Collaborate with designers, backend devs, and a passionate founding team on a mission to make booking stays across Africa frictionless.
• Refactor code until it shines like polished obsidian.
• Obsess over performance. Lag is your mortal enemy.
• Leave our apps so clean and intuitive that users send you thank-you notes.
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
• Has shipped apps on iOS and Android and lived to tell the tale.
• Knows how to talk to REST APIs and doesn’t mind fighting with JSON.
• Thinks in components and architectures, not just lines of code.
• Can sketch a UX wireframe on a napkin during a flight delay.
• Enjoys solving real user problems more than flexing on Stack Overflow.
• Knows that great UI isn’t just pixels—it’s emotional intelligence in code.
Bonus Points for:
• Experience with Flutter (we love it, but we’ll love you more if you know why).
• A love for clean design and consistent UI/UX patterns.
• A healthy obsession with travel, local culture, and African cities.
• A funny Git commit history (make us laugh, just once).
