Who we are looking for

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer Freelance with expertise in Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory). The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between development and operations teams, implement CI/CD pipelines, and manage cloud infrastructure with a focus on Azure technologies. The project is the realisation of a PoC / MVP in the field of vehicle reservation for a company fleet.


Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps or similar roles
  • Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and resource management
  • Experience with Azure Entra ID configuration and management
  • Proficiency in at least one IaC tool (Terraform, Azure ARM templates, Bicep)
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and practical implementation
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions for cloud environments
  • Experience with application security and identity management
  • Knowledge of network security concepts in cloud environments
  • Familiarity with Azure Policy and governance frameworks
  • Experience with Git-based workflows
  • Understanding of agile methodologies
  • Fluent in English (B2+)


Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools
  • Configure and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
  • Administer and optimize Azure Entra ID for identity and access management
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and availability
  • Implement security best practices across cloud environments
  • Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes


Mode of work: full remote, in Central European time zone (CET)
