Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Senior Game Designer with a specialization in slot games to join our dynamic team in Ho Chi Minh City. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating captivating and innovative gaming experiences, coupled with a deep understanding of slot game mechanics and balancing. As a Senior Game Designer, you will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing, designing, and executing world-class slot games that captivate players and drive engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Game Design: Lead the design process for slot games from conception to completion, including gameplay mechanics, features, themes, and visual assets.
2. Mechanic Development: Develop innovative and engaging game mechanics tailored for slot games, ensuring a balance between excitement, entertainment, and profitability.
3. Balancing: Utilize strong analytical skills to balance game features, payouts, and player progression to enhance player experience and optimize monetization.
4. Prototyping: Rapidly prototype game concepts to test mechanics, iterate on designs, and gather feedback from stakeholders.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including artists, developers, and product managers to ensure the successful implementation of game designs.
6. Documentation: Create comprehensive design documentation, including game design documents, feature specifications, and tuning parameters.
7. Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering their growth and development within the team.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in game design, with a focus on slot games.
• Proven track record of designing successful slot games with a strong understanding of player psychology and engagement mechanics.
• Proficiency in game design tools such as Cocos, or similar game development platforms.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance gameplay and monetization effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams.
• Experience living or working in a multicultural environment preferred.
• English-speaking expats in HCM are welcome.
