Solution Architect – Global Investment Management

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading global investment manager, who is looking for a Solution Architect to play a key role in delivering technology transformation across the business. This is a high-impact role, working on projects that span multiple functions, ensuring scalable, efficient, and forward-thinking solutions.

The Role

As a Solution Architect, you will work across various business areas to design and implement innovative technology solutions. This is not a traditional architecture role—it requires a broad, strategic approach, working above delivery to shape technology direction. Key projects cover the breadth of the business and include:

• Cloud migration and SaaS adoption
• Data architecture transformation
• Investment risk and attribution solutions

The company is increasing its use of AWS (with some Azure), transitioning towards Kubernetes, and exploring AI-driven solutions. You’ll collaborate with engineering, data, and change teams to ensure seamless technology integration across the organisation.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in solution architecture within financial services, ideally asset management.
• A strong track record of technology-driven business process change and end-to-end solution delivery.
• The ability to bridge technical and business needs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Experience with Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and modern data architectures is beneficial.
• A proactive, adaptable mindset—comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Hybrid Working & Benefits

This is a hybrid role, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office. The company offers a collaborative, forward-thinking environment with opportunities to work on meaningful transformation projects.
