As the Technical Product Manager/Data Lead, you will act as a bridge between three AI/ML engineers and the business. The AI team is building a recommendation engine for customers as well as a new Data Platform to service other areas internally. You will take the engineers’ output, validate it with customers (understanding why it’s relevant or not), and then loop that feedback back to the team for iteration.
You will need to be technical enough to challenge and support the AI engineers, while also being personable and persuasive enough to get clients excited about the value they're building.
Importantly, you'll need to be relentless, this role involves trial and error, and persistence is key.
Who You Are 🚀
- Technical Expertise: You have a solid understanding of backend systems, data pipelines, and integrations. A background in engineering is a plus.
- Data-Driven: You have experience working with data-intensive products and a keen ability to understand, manipulate, and extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.
- Experience with AI/ML: Experience or familiarity with AI/ML-powered recommendation systems, with a particular focus on sales automation or CRM integrations, is highly desirable.
- Product Management Experience: 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in a SaaS environment, with a proven track record of working on data-heavy or recommendation-driven products.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think critically, identify bottlenecks, and suggest creative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- User-Centric: You’re passionate about creating products that provide real value to users, particularly in the sales space.
- Agile: Familiar with agile methodologies and capable of driving projects from inception to completion within an agile framework.
