Release Manager in LATIN AMERICA

Purpose of position

The Salesforce Release Manager is responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end release process for Salesforce solutions, ensuring timely and reliable deployments. This role focuses on streamlining releases, minimizing risks, and maximizing the delivery of value to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Release Planning & Execution: Develop and manage release schedules, coordinate deployments across environments, and ensure adherence to release processes.
• Deployment Management: Utilize DevOps Tools (e.g. DevOps Center, Copado, etc.) for automated deployments, change management, and environment management.
• Version Control: Maintain and manage Salesforce metadata and code using Git repositories, ensuring proper version control and collaboration.
• Change Management: Implement and enforce change management procedures to ensure proper authorization and documentation of all changes.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate release-related risks, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with development, testing, and business teams, providing regular updates and ensuring clear communication throughout the release cycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Release Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform and deployment methodologies.
• Experience with Salesforce deployment tools (e.g., Salesforce DevOps tools, change sets, Ant Migration Tool, DevOps Center).
• Knowledge of change management principles and practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder) are a plus.
• Strong Git knowledge (Bitbucket, GitHub, etc.)
• Copado certified (desired)
