Cloud Performance Engineer at BairesDev

As a Cloud Performance Engineer, you will focus on optimizing cloud infrastructure to achieve the ideal balance between performance and cost. You will align infrastructure capabilities with business requirements, ensuring that cloud environments are right-sized and scaled efficiently to handle varying workloads.

What You'll Do

• Analyze and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, or Azure to improve the performance-to-cost ratio.
• Implement and tune autoscaling policies to ensure high availability and resource efficiency.
• Identify and execute right-sizing opportunities for instances and storage based on workload patterns.
• Select and validate workload-specific instance types to maximize processing efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate performance-cost considerations into the development lifecycle.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Performance Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or DevOps.
• Proven expertise in optimizing cloud infrastructure for performance-to-cost ratio across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency in tuning autoscaling configurations and implementing right-sizing strategies.
• Hands-on experience with workload-specific instance selection and performance benchmarking.
• Strong understanding of cloud cost management tools and performance monitoring solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
