Machine Learning Engineer in UKRAINE

Job Description 

We are looking for experienced Machine Learning Speech Engineer specializing in text-to-speech (TTS) and speech-to-text (STT) technologies. As a key contributor, you will help build our generative AI stack, enabling next-generation AI voice applications. This position is fully remote with flexible working hours.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Over 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages (Python preferred), with expertise in machine learning algorithms and tools (e.g., PyTorch), artificial intelligence, deep learning, and natural language processing.
• At least 1 year of experience in developing end-to-end speech processing systems and real-time applications.
• Experience with training and inference of ML models.
• Experience with AWS Sagemaker, Huggingface, and Transformers.
• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and GCP.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in speech synthesis/recognition or related fields.
• Over 5 years of experience in software design, architecture, and launching software products.
• Experience in sourcing and curating speech datasets.
• Previous experience in a technical leadership role, guiding project teams and setting technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Research and implement cutting-edge machine learning techniques for TTS and STT applications.
• Develop and test production-grade training and inference pipelines for TTS and STT systems.
• Tackle optimization challenges in the areas of speech processing, signal processing, and natural language processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate speech technologies into our products.
