Your role at Exness:

In this highly collaborative position, you will administer systems and participate in the development of modern infrastructure solutions that allow the rapid development and release of Exness products and services.

You will:

  • Manage various systems through multiple product life cycle environments.
  • Configure and maintain VM servers and processes, including the monitoring of system health and performance to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
  • Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
  • Provide support for systems security configuration management, including accounts, roles, and privileges.
  • Create reports and visualizations on the systems as well as integrate monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions.
  • Provision infrastructure and manage business processes as code.
  • Manage the life cycle of engineering solutions in relation to a set of specific business problems.
  • Prioritize and automate toil work.
  • Implement the development of a strategic technical vision as laid out by the Architecture, Engineering, Security, and Product Development teams.
  • Participate in solution prototyping experiments.
  • Implement changes and apply new patches and versions, assisting with architecture evolution over time.

What makes you a great fit:

  • Bachelor's degree or 3 or more years of experience
  • Linux administration experience of at least 1 year
  • Working experience administering databases
  • Good knowledge of capacity planning, resource management, and architecture design for server deployments
  • Familiarity with building infrastructure as code and investing in architecture setup
  • Ability to quickly analyze a problem having limited data, make hypotheses, and test them
  • Understanding of TDD
  • Knowledge of or experience in CI/CD and automated build pipeline
  • Detail-oriented mindset and a passion for quality
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Team player mindset
  • Strong desire to research and study new technologies
  • Intermediate level of spoken and written English

Nice to have:

  • Windows administration experience
  • AWS Solution Architect or AWS SysOps certification
  • Experience working in Python, R lang, Go, or Java
  • Experience in DevOps and service ownership
  • Strong pair programming or mob programming skills
  • Experience using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible
  • Familiarity with HashiCorp open-source tools
  • Knowledge of public cloud services or VMware solutions
  • Background in data processing pipelines
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, MongoDB, ClickHouse, or Vertica
