UX Designer
Type of Employment: Permanent
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark or Warsaw, Poland
Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Sr. Manager UX/UI within our Experience Design team, the UX Designer will be a crucial player in our agile digital product development process. UX designers at Circle K work closely with cross-functional teams to translate user needs and business objectives into intuitive and engaging digital experiences. Designers leverage expertise in user research, interaction design, and usability testing to inform and guide the product development cycle.
What You’ll Do
Here are ways that you’ll help make journeys better:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft innovative design solutions.
- Conduct user research (interviews, surveys, usability tests) to understand user behavior.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications for effective communication.
- Coordinate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
- Refine designs iteratively based on user feedback and stakeholder input.
- Advocate for user-centricity throughout the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to the global UX design system and promote shared knowledge.
What You’ll Need
We want you to join our team! Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing cross-platform design expertise.
- 3-5 years of UX design experience, focusing on mobile app interfaces.
- Proficiency in Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.
- Experience in agile design, preferably with Scrum.
- Proficiency in user research and usability testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with WCAG standards and inclusive design.
- Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is advantageous.
- Strategic thinker with strong inclination toward collaboration and speed;
- Exceptional communication skills to foster seamless cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficient balancing design projects varying in complexity and priority.
- Fluency in English – written and oral.
