Role Overview: As the Head of Engineering, you will lead the technical vision, strategy, and execution of our platform. You will be responsible for architecting and scaling a secure, efficient, and regulatory-compliant tokenization liquidity network and trading engine. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep expertise in trading engines, blockchain development, and distributed systems, along with the ability to recruit and lead a high-performance engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the technical strategy for our tokenization liquidity network and trading engine system.
- Lead the design, architecture, and development of our blockchain-based infrastructure, smart contracts, and backend systems.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of talented engineers across multiple disciplines (blockchain, backend, security, DevOps, and frontend as needed).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions with blockchain networks and distribution channels.
- Ensure all blockchain applications comply with regulatory requirements and security standards.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in blockchain technology, especially within the Solana ecosystem, such as token extensions.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with a passion for fostering engineering excellence.
- Strong expertise in building trading products.
- Strong understanding of decentralized finance (DeFi) principles and asset tokenization.
- Good understanding of tokenization frameworks, on-chain liquidity mechanisms, and cross-chain interoperability.
- Familiarity with regulatory considerations in financial asset tokenization.
- Experience with cross-chain protocols and interoperability solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Some experiences with scaling a tech team.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving startup environment.
- Good to have direct Smart Contract development experience, but it is not a must.
