Data Engineer in PORTUGAL

We’re looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join an exciting full remote project! If you have a passion for data solutions, cloud platforms, and automation, this is the opportunity for you.

What You'll Do:

• Develop, refine, and enhance data solutions for clients, ensuring optimal performance and scalability;
• Utilize Azure data platforms like Microsoft Fabric, Synapse Analytics, and Databricks, while seamlessly integrating with services such as Power BI, Microsoft Purview, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Data Lake;
• Streamline CI/CD processes, ensuring smooth deployment from development to production with Fabric, Azure DevOps, and GitHub;
• Leverage core Azure infrastructure (Networks, Entra ID, ARM, Bicep, Terraform) to build robust and scalable data engineering solutions;
• Engage with stakeholders, providing clear, concise, and impactful technical presentations and documentation;
• Operate in Agile environments, effectively navigating and adapting to organizations ranging from small businesses to large enterprises;
• Stay up to date with AI, Data Science, and Generative AI advancements, exploring new technologies to enhance data engineering practices.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Extensive experience as an Azure Data Engineer, specializing in designing and optimizing cloud-based data solutions;
• Deep expertise in Microsoft data platforms, including Fabric, Synapse, and Databricks, along with hands-on experience in Power BI, Microsoft Purview, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Data Lake;
• Good grasp of Azure infrastructure (Networks, Entra ID, ARM, Bicep, Terraform) and its role in data engineering workflows;
• Proficiency in CI/CD automation, leveraging Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Fabric for seamless deployment of data solutions;
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Experience in Agile methodologies, working in fast-paced environments across SMBs and large enterprises;
• Awareness of AI and Data Science, with a basic understanding of Generative AI being a plus.

Certifications (Preferred & Nice to Have):
