Technical Business Analyst (Contract) – Remote (Portugal)

We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst Contractor to join a global logistics organisation on an initial 6-month contract. This is a fully remote role based in Portugal, working with international teams on large-scale operational and technology initiatives within the logistics and supply chain sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Technical Business Analyst who enjoys working in fast-paced, complex enterprise environments and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple regions. Candidates with Infrastructure and Network Architecture experience will be highly preferred, as this role requires working closely with technical teams on enterprise infrastructure and technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements from stakeholders across operations, infrastructure, technology, and product teams.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements gathering sessions.
• Translate business and technical needs into clear user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and technical documentation.
• Work closely with product owners, developers, infrastructure teams, network architects, and QA teams to ensure accurate delivery of requirements.
• Support process analysis and improvement initiatives across logistics and supply chain workflows.
• Assist with UAT planning, execution, and defect management.
• Create and maintain documentation, business cases, solution proposals, and technical specifications.
• Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience working as a Technical Business Analyst in complex enterprise environments.
• Infrastructure and/or Network Architecture experience is a priority requirement, with a strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, networking concepts, and the ability to work effectively alongside infrastructure and network engineering teams.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Experience working in Agile and/or Scrum environments.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical documentation and functional specifications.
• Strong process modelling and analytical skills.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar collaboration and documentation platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Fluent English.

Desirable Experience

• Experience within logistics, transportation, or supply chain environments.
• Exposure to global or multi-regional organisations.
• Knowledge of process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, BPMN).
• Experience supporting digital transformation, infrastructure, or operational improvement projects.
