About Search Backend

What You Will Do

  • Your primary focus will be collaborating within a small team to deliver impactful features according to our product roadmap.
  • Embracing rigorous code reviews will be essential to your role. You'll give and receive feedback while maintaining clean coding practices and implementing comprehensive testing strategies.
  • System reliability will be at the core of your responsibilities. You'll collaborate on minimizing technical debt and apply your expertise to identify and resolve outages.
  • Working in an Agile environment, you'll champion methodologies like Scrum/Kanban, ensuring your team maintains transparency while you actively participate in all ceremonies to maximize value delivery.
  • As you progress in your role, you'll immerse yourself in our tech stack, using your work on new features and improvements to expand your skill set, helping you grow.

What You Will Need

  • Bringing your solid Golang proficiency to the team is essential, demonstrating your ability to develop production-level applications while staying current with the latest technologies.
  • Your experience with scalable systems will be crucial in applying your understanding of performance improvement techniques, including concurrency, caching, and microservice architecture.
  • Your collaborative work style shines as you engage with fellow Engineers, and your openness to giving and receiving feedback contributes to a positive team dynamic.
  • Your understanding of software engineering best practices is key as you apply your knowledge of testing, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines in your daily work.
  • Problem-solving comes naturally to you as you analyze complex technical issues, implement effective solutions, and communicate these to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Your strong sense of ownership drives you to take the initiative and move projects forward, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results through your commitment to accountability.
  • The bigger picture guides your thoughtful technical decisions as you align with product strategy and demonstrate your ability to deliver business value while expanding your knowledge in the aviation travel domain.
  • You are fluent in English and have strong communication and collaboration skills.
