About you
We’re looking for a talented Platform Engineer who can drive change and optimise our development and operations processes, who thrives on automation, scalability, and reliability.
If you’re an expert in Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and cloud architecture, this role will allow you to drive key infrastructure decisions, mentor junior engineers, and build a world-class developer experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Architect and Scale – Design, build, and optimize a cloud-native platform using Kubernetes, Istio, and Terraform/Terragrunt.
- Automate Everything – Improve CI/CD pipelines, enhance self-service capabilities, and remove friction from deployments.
- Lead Cloud Operations – Manage and optimize multi-cloud environments across AWS and Azure.
- Security and Reliability – Implement zero-trust security models, secrets management, and proactive vulnerability remediation.
- Observability and Performance – Drive monitoring, alerting, and logging initiatives to ensure system reliability.
- Mentor and Lead – Guide junior engineers, advocate for best practices, and drive technical excellence.
- Data & Streaming Excellence – Work with Kafka, Spark, and Trino to optimize data processing and streaming pipelines.
- Design and optimize authentication workflows – Implement and manage OAuth2 Proxy, federated Identity Providers (IdP), and IAM policies to ensure secure and seamless access across the platform.
Who You Are
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform/Terragrunt, and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Golang, or Bash for automation.
- Proven experience managing and optimizing AWS and/or Azure environments.
- Strong security mindset—familiar with OWASP, secrets management, IAM, and cloud security best practices.
- Passion for developer experience, with a track record of building self-service tools.
- Experience with Kafka, Spark, Trino, or other distributed data systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a bias toward automation and efficiency.
