Role Overview:
As a 3D Artist/Generalist at adlicious, you will be the driving force behind our creative endeavors, responsible for every aspect of the 3D / CGI production process. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a keen eye for detail, and are passionate about delivering exceptional results.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Supporting 3D generalist, handling all aspects of 3D and CGI work independently.
- Create high-quality 3D models, encompassing both hard surface and organic forms, with proficiency in subdivision modeling techniques.
- Execute texturing tasks utilizing PBR workflows, including software such as Adobe and Vray internal texturing strategies.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of rendering performance considerations, balancing speed and quality effectively.
- Develop shading techniques with a basic understanding of material properties, including diffuse, roughness, metallic, specular, IOR, and SSS.
- Utilize strong UV skills for unwrapping, organizing UVs, and remapping as needed.
- Employ animation skills for basic animations, rigging, and dynamics, with additional experience in particle and fluid simulations as a plus.
- Collaborate with the post-production team to ensure seamless render output to 2D workflows, including layered rendering and channel management.
- Utilize Autodesk Maya and Vray render engine as your main industry standard software
- Possess knowledge of basic VFX, photoscanning, and 2D animation to post workflows.
- Maintain a "Speed Vs. Quality" mindset throughout the production process, delivering exceptional results within project timelines and client budgets.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills for clean data handling and asset management, facilitating reproducibility and scalability.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, rendering, and animation techniques.
- Strong understanding of industry-standard software and workflows, including Autodesk package, Vray Render Engine and Adobe Suite
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to document complex processes effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- A proactive approach to self-improvement and staying updated with industry trends and technologies.
