What is the job about?

We are looking for a Systems Engineer (Security) to strengthen our security posture by implementing and managing security controls, monitoring network traffic for suspicious activity, and collaborating with DevOps teams to integrate security best practices. You will also configure and manage key security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, vulnerability scanners, and SIEM solutions, to ensure continuous protection of our systems.

What exactly will you do?

• Implement and manage security controls to protect systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools.
• Monitor system network traffic for suspicious activity.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security best practices
• Configure and optimize security tools such as vulnerability scanners, antivirus solutions, and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
• Maintain continuous system integrity by proactively identifying vulnerabilities and addressing security gaps.

What we're looking for

• 2–3 years of experience in System Engineering, Security Engineering, or related roles.
• Proficiency in operating systems and network security principles (TCP/IP, VPNs, SSL/TLS).
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and programming languages (e.g., Python).
• Exposure to cloud and containerization technologies.
• Strong analytical mindset, methodical problem-solving, and a willingness to learn and innovate.
• Interest in working with security tools, such as Intrusion Prevention Systems, Web Application Firewalls, SIEMs, and Vulnerability Scanning Tools.
