For one of my customer we are looking for a Network Engineer with strong experience in Firewalls.

Location: Euroope(100% remote)
Description:
Protect the organization's computer systems and networks from cyberattacks.
Implement and maintain security tools and technologies, including firewalls, SASE, remote access solutions, authentication/authorization systems, and access controls.
Document configurations, network and application designs for effective security operations. Collaborate with relevant teams on cyber investigations.
Research and assess the potential impact of emerging threats and exploits.
Guide the information security team in developing and implementing network security solutions.
Provide expert advice on architectural vulnerabilities and potential weaknesses.
Collaborate with security architects to design and implement enhanced security technologies.
Conduct security research, document findings, and provide insights to security architects.
Perform risk analysis and recommend remediation or mitigation strategies. Identify, design, and execute security projects to improve detection and response capabilities.
Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to design secure applications.
Manage the security of infrastructure, network, and supporting software.
Address security risks associated with global operations, offshoring, and outsourcing Design and deliver security-related projects, defining goals, objectives, scope, timelines, budget, and resource requirements.
Deploy systems and applications securely, adhering to defined security requirements and standards. Provide engineering security solutions for various programs and engineering of the security standard based on security policy (in coordination with SEC-AB).
Ensure proper release management for all deployed security solutions.
Provide Level 3 support for all implemented security solutions.
Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities, and develop risk mitigation plans.
Skills:
Degree in Information Technology or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in similar security engineering role
SASE implementation background, expertise in Palo Alto, Cisco LAN, any related certifications are a plus Strong understanding of security principles, technologies, and best practices.
Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, proxy servers, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint security solutions.
Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and application security.
Experience with risk assessment and vulnerability management.
Ability to diagnose, prioritize, resolve, and escalate issues effectively.
Fluence in English. Proficiency in French and other languages is a plus.
