Stelfox is partnering with a Fintech SaaS provider in Dublin who are looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer in Test, to help implement Test automation initiatives across UI, API, Performance and security testing.
At present, they environment is about 80% manual, 20% automation and we are looking to pivot much more toward Automation to improve speed and overall test coverage across various scenarios / situation across both the frontend and backend systems (UI / API / Load / Stress / Performance and Security testing).
Some of your key tasks will be:
- Design and implement robust automated test suites and end-to-end user flows
- Execute testing strategies for both frontend and backend systems.
- Drive continuous improvements of test automation frameworks and methodologies.
- Build strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams
Core experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Ideally 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on Automation.
- Advanced knowledge of API testing methodologies and tools
- Deep understanding of Agile development practices and QA integration
- Expertise in developing comprehensive test strategies aligned with business requirements
- Strong programming skills in at least one major language (Python preferred)
- Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD platforms
Preferred experience can include:
- Experience with cloud-based test automation platforms
- Experience with performance testing and security testing
- Knowledge of containerisation and microservices architecture.
