Due to continued growth, we are now looking to expand our SEO team. As an SEO Specialist, you will form a key part of the existing SEO team.
This role would suit somebody with two to three years of experience in the SEO industry. Ideally in an agency setting, but experience working in an in-house SEO environment will also be considered.
The purpose of the role is to deliver SEO services to our e-commerce clients. You will provide SEO guidance and strategic support to a range of Shopify brands. You will leverage your SEO knowledge and expertise to build and execute client SEO roadmaps that deliver meaningful growth.
You’ll have experience using standard SEO tools such as Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMRush and Screaming Frog. You can communicate complex SEO topics in simple understandable language to any stakeholder.
You have a strong understanding of technical SEO and are comfortable talking about tech SEO factors such as canonicalisation, crawling and schema.
Responsibilities
- Manage the SEO strategies for Eastside Co’s clients, ensuring SEO best practices are in place and effective roadmaps are scheduled.
- Conduct website audits and health checks to identify emerging issues or opportunities. Then schedule appropriate tasks to action any issues.
- Conduct keyword research to identify terms and phrases to target.
- Conduct competitor research
- Write optimised content for metadata, on-page content and blogs.
- Produce monthly reports for clients that explain SEO results and demonstrate the value of your work.
- Identify link prospects and then conduct outreach campaigns that secure quality backlinks
- Oversee platform migrations from other tech platforms to Shopify.
Required Skills
- SEO experience (2 years)
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals
- Understanding of HTML
- Experience using tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMRush and Screaming Frog.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in e-commerce (ideally Shopify)
The salary for the role is £30-36k per annum.
