Frontend Developer in JAPAN

I am currently hiring for a Senior frontend developer of Japan’s largest IT companies (no Japanese needed), and as long as you have strong experience in using reactjs, CMS (redux), and testing libraries, etc you’ll be eligible to apply.

This is an exciting opportunity to be able to work on a product with millions of users!

Here are the details below:

Starting salary: 6,000,000 to 6,500,000 yen per year + benefits (commute, free meals, VISA, on-site gym, etc)

Location: Tokyo (on-site role - hybrid work style with remote allowed)

VISA: Work VISA sponsorship is available

Employment type: Initial 2-2.5 months contract, and 3 months rolling contract after that.

During the contract period, you’ll be employed by Robert Walters. However, there is a high chance of conversion to direct permanent employment with Rakuten around 6 months- 1 year mark.

Relocation Package: None, but we offer non-financial support.

Here's a bit of detail of the JD:

• B.S. or M.S. in computer science or equivalent.
• 2-3+ years of experience in senior frontend development with these tech stack: reactjs, typescript, redux/wordpress, unit testing and react testing libraries
• Nice to have: experience in creating and implementing new features from scratch
• Good communication skill, eagerness to learn and grow
