DevOps Engineer

About the Role-

In this position, you will leverage strong DevOps principles and advanced cloud technologies to drive our Platform Infrastructure strategy, which emphasizes market agility, lean operations, and a commitment to quality to meet the growing demands of our clients. We are looking for highly collaborative, creative, and intellectually curious DevOps Engineers who are passionate about implementing cutting-edge cloud solutions.

Qualifications needed-

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, TechOps, or SRE roles, with at least 2 years focused on AWS.
• Experience with microservices (Docker, Kubernetes) in a production environment.
• Must have residency in Portugal
• Strong knowledge of Linux alongside principles of configuration management.
• Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency in architecting, implementing, and managing monitoring tools, including Prometheus/Grafana, CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog, NewRelic, and ELK within cloud environments.
• Solid coding skills beyond simple scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Java.
• Experience with cloud compute provisioning using tools like Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience in building microservice-based architectures.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to design and implement complex, automated, yet easily manageable infrastructure.
• AWS certifications are a plus.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining tools to enhance the development environment on MacOS and Linux, with a focus on improving developer productivity.
• Ensuring site reliability by building highly scalable systems that integrate resiliency and high availability at all levels.
• Developing software and tooling to secure and automate cloud infrastructure, enabling fully automated software delivery workflows.
• Designing and managing Kubernetes environments for container orchestration and management.
• Contributing to the design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of distributed systems.

Work Environment

• This role is fully remote. While each department may have varying requirements, this position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere.
