Role Overview

We are looking for a Technical Product Owner to drive our product initiatives. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Product to translate the product roadmap into actionable backlog items and user stories. You will support two agile development pods, ensuring smooth execution of features, including LLM integrations and agentic workflows, from concept to release. This role requires close collaboration with UI/UX, engineering, and business teams to make data-driven decisions aligned with company objectives. This is a remote position open to candidates in Europe or Latin America, offering a mid-to-senior-level opportunity to shape an innovative AI product in a dynamic startup environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Roadmap Execution: Convert high-level product roadmap into well-defined epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals. Conduct grooming sessions to keep tasks relevant and refined.
  • Feature Development: Oversee the development and release of AI-driven features. Collaborate with engineers to integrate LLMs and agent workflows while addressing technical challenges.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the bridge between engineering, design, and business teams. Partner with UI/UX designers to optimize user experience and align with market needs.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze product metrics, conduct A/B tests, and iterate based on real-world usage insights.
  • Feature Flags: Define and manage feature rollouts using LaunchDarkly, ensuring controlled deployments.
  • Rapid Prototyping: Use no-code/low-code tools (Lovable.dev, Replit) to build proof-of-concept solutions before committing to full development.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear product updates to internal teams, ensuring alignment on priorities and timelines.
  • Quality & Performance: Collaborate with QA to define validation criteria and ensure robust testing.



Requirements

  • Product Management Experience: 5+ years in product management or product ownership, including 2+ years with AI/ML-driven products. Experience delivering features in agile startups is a strong plus.
  • AI/LLM Knowledge: Familiarity with Generative AI, LLM workflows, and AI product development lifecycles.
  • Technical Acumen: Ability to engage with engineers on AI services, APIs, and agent architectures. Hands-on experience with AI frameworks or cloud services is preferred.
  • Agile Execution: Expertise in Scrum/Kanban methodologies, backlog refinement, and Jira or similar tools.
  • UI/UX Collaboration: Understanding of user-centered design principles and experience working with designers.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Proficiency with product analytics, A/B testing, and tools like Mixpanel or Google Analytics.
  • Prototyping Skills: Ability to create rapid prototypes using no-code/low-code platforms.
  • Strong Communication: Ability to articulate AI-driven concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Leadership & Organization: Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving initiatives without direct authority.
  • Remote Work Experience: Ability to work effectively in a distributed team, with timezone overlap in Europe or Latin America.



Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

  • HR Tech Experience: Background in recruiting, ATS, or workflow automation products.
  • AI/ML Depth: Hands-on experience in AI engineering, data science, or a technical degree.
  • Certifications: Scrum Product Owner certification (CSPO, PSPO) or equivalent.
