Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented web designer with graphic design skills, a strong sense of taste,
and a well-developed visual acumen to support both the Marketing and Customization teams. This
role includes designing landing pages, preparing layouts for development, creating simple social
media creatives, and customizing client portal layouts based on brand guidelines and the design
system in Figma.
Key Responsibilities:
- User-Centered Design: Create landings with high-fidelity user interfaces that prioritize usability and meet user needs.
- Design Consistency: Maintain and enforce the use of design systems, ensuring consistency across all product interfaces.
- Visual Content Creation: Design engaging visuals for digital media, including social media graphics, emails, presentations, small illustration and icon.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all design materials align with KnowledgeCity’s brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms.
- Collaborating with Teams: Working with marketing, product, design and content teams to ensure consistent and impactful messaging.
- Innovation and Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions and improve the overall user experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience:
- Proven 1-3 years of experience in Web design or UX/UI design.
- A strong portfolio showcasing web design projects, including responsive designs and an understanding of UX principles. Real projects are a must.
- Proficient in Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator is a must. Basic understanding of design systems and component-based design approaches.
- can assemble a communication banner, and draw a small illustration or icon using guidelines.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their implications for design decisions is a bonus.
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) is a bonus.
Core Skills:
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, working closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and consistency.
Skills in presenting results of work to managers and product teams. Ability to defend an idea with reason.
Fluent in English and Arabic is a plus.
