About Paddle Creative

Paddle Creative is a respected, fast-growing UK-based Webflow Partner agency where our team members—proud to be known as Paddlers—work closely together to deliver outstanding digital experiences. We pride ourselves on clear communication, excellent organisation, and a collaborative spirit. As a fully remote agency, we ensure our Paddlers have the support they need, including direct oversight from our dedicated Operations Manager.

Job Description

We're seeking a mid to senior-level UI/UX Designer who is also an experienced project manager. In this dual role, you will design and oversee the development of websites built in Webflow while also managing client relationships and project teams to ensure the successful delivery of each project. You will lead client calls, coordinate with internal team members, and help drive internal projects and new product initiatives.

Responsibilities

UI/UX Design:

  • Create user-centered designs for websites to be built in Webflow.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality Figma files; you must be able to share live examples from your portfolio.
  • Utilise tools such as Relume (advantageous) and demonstrate an understanding of GSAP and Lotties (bonus).
  • Understanding user journeys is essential, and knowledge of the StoryBrand framework is a bonus.
  • Clear organisation of work is key.

Project Management:

  • Lead client calls and act as the primary point of contact, ensuring excellent communication and relationship management.
  • Oversee project timelines, tasks, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed successfully and on schedule.
  • Coordinate internal teams (including developers and other Paddlers) to meet project goals.
  • Familiarity with project management tools is preferred; experience with Monday.com is a plus.

Additional Contributions:

  • Collaborate on internal company projects and assist with the development of new products.
  • Ensure all work is delivered to a high standard, aligned with Paddle Creative’s reputation for excellence.

Requirements

  • Experience:
  • Proven track record in UI/UX design, specifically for websites built in Webflow.
  • Mid to senior-level experience in design, along with demonstrated project management skills.
  • Strong portfolio with live examples of Figma files showcasing your design process and finished work.

Skills:

  • Excellent client-facing communication skills and the ability to lead client calls confidently.
  • Highly organised, with strong time management skills.
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
  • Experience with Relume, GSAP, and Lotties is advantageous.

Working Arrangement:

  • Must be able to work fully remotely within the UK timezone.
  • Availability for 30-40 hours per week (negotiable).

What We Offer

  • A fully remote role with flexible working hours aligned with the UK timezone.
  • Paid annual leave.
  • A competitive freelance contract with monthly pay.
  • The opportunity to work with a dynamic, collaborative team of Paddlers passionate about delivering exceptional digital experiences.
  • Clear expectations and strong support from our dedicated Operations Manager.
  • Involvement in client-facing projects and exciting internal initiatives that drive our company’s growth.
  • We like to try new things and are always brainstorming new revenue streams and product ideas, and we want you to be part of that.
  • A supportive and hands-on working environment that focuses on getting things done
  • A role that allows you to shape the growth and direction of our business
